Angelica - Aromatheraphy Essentail Oil
Angelica is best known as the green, candied stem https:d to decorate cakes. Traditionally the root was chewed and burnt to ward off infection during 14th- and 15th-century plagues in Europe and to cure coughs or indigestion. In aromatherapy, it is a germ-killer, excellent for coughs and colds, flu, muscular aches and rheumatism.
Origin Of Angelica
Oil is extracted from the root, fruit or seed of the plant. It is grown in Belgium, Hungary, Germany and is a native of Europe.
Properties of Angelica oil
The essential oil has an earthy, peppery, musky smell. It is a good expectorant, an excellent digestive, and helps with rheumatic conditions, indigestion, flatulence and colic. It has a calming effect on the digestion and is very warming and relaxing.
